About Jasmine:
Jasmine is a certified personal trainer through AFAA, and has a well-earned reputation for her methods targeting weight loss and strength training. Jasmine’s journey in fitness began after she had her children and had to drop about 30lbs of “baby weight.” She started to eat clean and joined a local gym…. and from there her life was changed forever. As she was losing weight and getting closer to her goal, she began to become more intrigued by the different methods possible for weight loss.
She began to educate herself on the human body and the effects of diet and exercise on an individual’s well-being. Jasmine at that point became inspired to become a personal trainer and fitness professional.
During her weight loss journey, she kept things interesting by experimenting with various exercise platforms such as yoga, Pilates, weight-lifting, boxing, and running. Now, having had several years of personal training experience, she has added kettlebell training, TRX suspension training, sports conditioning, PNF stretching and nutrition counseling to her repertoire. Jasmine has worked with a wide variety of clientele including senior populations, new moms, adolescents, obese populations, athletes, and injury rehabilitation.
Since Jasmine has been through the weight loss journey herself, she understands the struggles that come with losing weight and staying on track. Some valuable lessons she learned during her weight-loss journey were: Realizing that change doesn’t happen overnight, being consistent week in and week out, and never giving up! Today, she welcomes intense workouts because they keep her feeling young, rejuvenated, and happy.
As your trainer, Jasmine will do whatever it takes to help you reach your goals. During your sessions, the time is all about YOU. As your trainer, Jasmine is prepared to be available to you throughout your journey, and realizes your journey is much longer than 1-hour a day! Not only will you be getting a top-notch workout, but she will be sharing valuable information with you to help you understand the science behind exercise and nutrition.
In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, working out, reading up on anything fitness related, and traveling. She was born and raised in Kobe, Japan and has been in the US for over 10 years. One of her proudest moments was when she became a US citizen. She especially loves Austin area, where fitness is a way of life.
